Heck yes you do!
You get bragging rights, you could be featured on the website as "Send of the Month" and our sponsors will be giving out contingency prizes to event winners!
Ideally no, as a time trial event its standard practice to adhere to the set schedule for competition. However as TORE is a community centric event, the organizers reserve the right to allow late arrivals to still compete.
Unfortunately no. TORE events are reserved for the TORE community as a time trial. If you want to just come drive, we will have the occasional test and tune day or even better, you can look at a Rally Ready membership so you can come out and send it regularly with no pesky timing equipment.
In order to receive support from sponsors and to get those contingency prizes, we need to show our sponsors some love. So when you post sick vids or photos to the Tikstagrams and the Twidsters the brands that support the series need to see that theyre being represented. Not to mention everything looks more like a race car with stickers. And stickers are worth like +5HP each.
- Dont rush and dont try to do it solo.
- Use a plastic credit card to help apply the stickers.
- Dont do it on a windy day.
- Ask a Rally Rancher for help.
The crew here at Rally Ready has drastically increased their involvement in the series to keep the tracks in better shape, add new features, and generally help grow the series. All that takes time, energy, equipment, and money to make it sustainable for us as a business.
Of course you can! And no sweat if you miss a race, just come out to the next one. There is a points system so showing up to more races gives you more opportunities to accumulate points though.
